RELIEF SOCIETY

August 6, 2015

Relief Society began this morning with a special musical number by Sister Howard (Australia) who played the piano and sang. She was assisted by Sister Bartel.

Sisters Fluckiger, Xia, Chiafitela and Sommerfelt taught our lesson today.  Their lesson came from Teaching From the Prophets of the Church, Chapter 6 “Jesus Christ, Our Savior and Redeemer”.  We were asked the question:  Who is Jesus Christ to you personally?  Because we know who Christ is we have been asked to come to Temple Square and share our testimony of Him with others.  We watched a short video about Peter’s testimony of Jesus Christ then we discussed how we can build and strengthen our testimony.  By relying on Jesus Christ in all things we can show our faith in Him and as we do so our faith will increase in Him as will our testimony of who He is and what He means to us personally in our lives.
