Treats, Toothpaste, and Fun - Oh My!

Halloween was sure a treat this year!
Apple Spice catered a tasty potato bar, the presidency and other beloved ones provided delicious treats, and President Seppi showed his love by providing toothbrushes!
...after all the sugar, our poor teeth sure did need a good brushing!

It's well known that Temple Square missionaries are crazy when it comes to free food...so to maintain some sort of order, our amazing AP's decided to hold a competition to determine which zone got to eat first.

The zone leaders were blindfolded, placed near a hanging doughnut, and told to eat it as fast as possible.  Let's just say this was pretty great entertainment for the rest of us!

Thanks to Sister Dieujuste and her amazing doughnut chomping skills, West 1 got to eat first!

Halloween candy is so gross...but so fun :)

Yummy treats!

Thanks President Seppi!

Sister Dieujuste and my lovely counterpart - Sister Gordon

Free food always makes you feel better :)

Some sisters dressed for the occasion!

Look at these beauties!

Mummies!

Yes, we are spoiled, but we love every second of it.

The final and most anticipated surprise of the night was that we got to watch ...HARRY POTTER!
Let me tell ya, watching that movie with a bunch of sister missionaries is one of the funniest things.  I don't know if I could really describe the experience, so I guess you'll just have to take my word for it!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Let's Get Muddy!

While we like to look cute and put together on the square, we also welcome the opportunity to let our hair down and get a little messy!  Thanks to President Seppi, we were given the opportunity to do just that while pitching in to maintain the beautiful landscape of Temple Square.

We love Garden Service!

Security Training Time!

Security Training is always a blast due to President Harman and his fantastic tales, but this transfer it was even BETTER.  Why?  Well, in the words of Sister Gillette...

"It's always a good day when somebody else makes you breakfast!".
 And that's just what happened.

Our amazing and beautiful land lady, DJ, provided breakfast for the whole mission!

Thank you DJ for all the hard-work, passion, and love you put into your job.  We love you!

One Year Older & Wiser Too!

This month brought around a very special event.  President Gillette had a birthday!  He works so hard for all of us here at Temple Square, and we love him so much.  To celebrate, all of the sisters marked their favorite verses in a brand new set of scriptures for President Gillette.
We hope he puts them to good use!

Happy birthday President!

Conference Time!!

It's that time of the year again!
The time when the weather starts to change, the boots are dusted off, and we get to hear from a living prophet and apostles!  General Conference was once again a memorable experience for all of us here at Temple Square.    We met thousands of amazing people, were spiritually fed, our bellies were filled with yummy treats from local stakes, and we received many referrals to start teaching!

We "planted" many seeds and hope to help them grow and be ready to "harvest" by next General Conference in April!

Saturday & Sunday were sure busy for us, but we enjoyed every minute.
The days were long, but oh so good.  If you haven't heard or read any of General Conference this year, we invite you to do so!
You won't be sorry :)
