NEW SENIOR MISSIONARIES

May 13, 2015—A Senior Couples Training Meeting was held today at 4:30pm.  We have five new couples that have been called as part time missionaries for hospitality tours on Temple Square.  Our new couples are:  Elder and Sister Geddis, Elder and Sister Stewart, Elder and Sister Jones, Elder and Sister Hazen and Elder and Sister Farrer. 

 

                                                                                                               

 

 Elder Burton welcomed them and explained Temple Square mission policies and procedures.  He also conducted a tour through the Teaching Center in the SVC and the office area.  Elder Sharp gave us a power point presentation on giving tours at Temple Square.

At 6pm, after our training, we departed Theatre 1 in the SVC and walked to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building for dinner in the Jade Room on the Mezzanine level.  We were pleased to hear comments from Neil Wilkinson from the Department of Tourism and Hospitality on Temple Square.  President and Sister Poulsen and Presient Loos also addressed us.
