THIS SABBATH DAY

Nov. 8, 2015

After Sacrament Meeting this morning our departing sisters along with a few others went to Music and the Spoken Word in the Tabernacle.  At the end of Music and the Spoken Word three sisters who will be departing Temple Square Mission for their homeland this coming Wednesday were recognized and thanked for their service.

Sisters Parks, Sommerfeldt, Departing Sisters-Hernandez from Canada, Hadzik from Germany and Huang from China and Sister Nguyen.

Getting ready for Music and the Spoken Word
Today Elder and Sister Richardson made tostados  and offered them to sisters who had Temple Square Blessings to share with our mission for the month of November.

Sister Ennis writes a blessing to exchange for a tostado

Sisters Menzie and Eging enjoy their tostados

Sister Poulsen helps while Pres. Poulsen reads the blessing miracles from the sisters.

President and Sister Poulsen are loved by all at Temple Square

HALLOWEEN

Oct. 31stIt’s Halloween and Temple Square closed at 5pm.   For dinner, Temple Square Mission went to the COB (Church Office Building) and used the cafeteria area to enjoy lasagna and a salad from Olive Garden.  Sister Poulsen also passed out candy to all the Sisters.  After dinner we walked over to the Salt Lake Temple for the 7pm Session.  It was wonderful to see everyone in white inside the temple all together.  Many temple hugs were exchanged in the Celestial Room as well as loving conversation.  It was a wonderful evening!
