So far, this transfer has been busy preparing for General Conference on October 6th & 7th. We are anxiously awaiting these special days. As part of the preparation, we have had many events and special meetings to get us ready.

Special Organ Tour

Each Zone had the chance to meet with one of the 5 Organists and had a special VIP tour of the inner workings of the Conference Center organ and the Tabernacle organ

Brigham City Temple Dedication

Sisters were given the opportunity to watch the temple dedication!

Special visit from Ruth Todd

Sister Todd, Executive director of Public Affairs for the church, came and spoke about how to be the face of the church.  We are the “point of entry” to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She taught us how to be N.I.C.E.
Neighborly, Informative, Conversational, Enthusiastic!

Sunny September

Running the Canyon!!

This is what some of us sisters love to do for exercise in the morning - RUN! These pictures are from the last day that we ran "the canyon" as we call it.  Due to the weather, and with it being dark in the morning we had to stop.  Now we run the hills between our apartments or at some tracks nearby. We can't wait for next summer to run here again!

It's all about Sister Gillette!!

It was Sister Gillette's Birthday on August 9th.  We sure love Sister Gillette and all she does for us!

Here is Sister Gillette with our gifts -
an international cookbook, flowers, and
we heart-attacked her door with
birthday notes.

More Zone Activities!!

This is North 2 at Heritage Park. Lovely pioneers!

Extended ZONE ACTIVITY!

 Party at President Harmon's House!

President Harmon, 1st Counselor to President Gillette, was so gracious as to let us come to his home in Park City, Ut for our zone activity. We started out with a hike, came back for hamburgers on the grill for dinner, and finished up with a little bit of shopping at the outlet mall near him home.  So fun!

We went on an adventure in the wilderness. We took a scenic hike near President Harmon's home in Park City, Utah.  It was a little over 4 mile, and with the uphill it was a good workout! It was so fun and beautiful.
Here we are halfway up - look at all these pretty fall leaves!

This is the view from the top. Spectacular!!
We made it back! Woo hoo!
Then it was burger time! This is President Harman cooking them for us.
