We welcomed in 2014 with a toast to great success on Temple Square. We celebrated at 10 PM (New York New Year's Time), so we could all wake up early the next day and start the New Year off right.
Happy New Year to all of our families and
Temple Square friends!

On January 2nd and 3rd, we had the great opportunity to
attend the Art Exhibit at BYU entitled, SACRED GIFTS.
Half of the mission attended on Thursday and half on Friday.
We were able to take the Trax train to the Frontrunner train and
that train to Provo, then the bus to BYU. It was a great day and
we all enjoyed the enriching experience. Many, many
thanks to the Provo East Stake, who invited us and to their
youth who served us a wonderful lunch at their Stake Center
after we visited the museum.
The exhibit featured famous art pieces from three European painters. All the pictures depicted the life of the Savior. These pictures were on loan from Fredricksborg Castle in Denmark and several other churches in
Denmark, Sweden and one in New York. The museum director and other knowledgeable docents led us
on inspiring tours. Each sister was given a packet of pictures to remember this wonderful day. We also had a great lunch, and met many new friends . It was a great day and great way to begin the New Year.
Happy New Year to all of our families and
